    This seems like a bad thing, but it actually isn't. I feel like it's a phenomenal skill that a lot of people haven't mastered yet. It surprised me because I didn't know it, it was what I was doing all this time, it came naturally to me. The transition in how you talk to your friends, family, and other peers would be completely different than talking to someone in a work environment. For example, the conversations I have with my friends, I wouldn't have when I'm talking to one of my teachers. When it comes to your literacy, it is important to be aware of your surroundings because how to talk to someone in your neighborhood should not be taken to a professional setting. With that in mind, being in different places and being surrounded by people speaking different forms of language, as a whole, has had a positive impact on my literacy.
