As the world changes so quickly, so do the ways we communicate. Technology now plays a huge role in how we converse and socialize as a culture. As we continue to advance as a civilization, it is important to preserve the fundamental principles of socialization. Socialization helps us acquire the necessary habits, beliefs and knowledge about society from our environment through home, school, community and the legal system. The development of these social skills begins in early childhood through adulthood with the goal of functioning in society. Values, norms and culture are essential for the survival of society. Roles and norms give groups structure within a society and allow members to know what is expected of them socially. As a teacher, parent, or leader of a group, you are supposed to teach the group to be conventional and conform to society. It is basic human nature to have the desire to pass on our own values, norms and culture to our children and/or those we command. We often resort to education based on the values ​​that society has taught us. Social media has now introduced an innovative way to achieve these standards through virtual communities on the web. Socialization prepares us for our life experiences. This can be seen as a reverential foundation for society. We may not accept certain rules of society, but without socialization, a civil society would cease to exist. Additionally, any influence on the socialization process has a profound effect on how we function as a community, with the most notable findings being email and instant messaging.
