Unfortunately, like all good things have their bad sides, all food colorings carry some risks associated with their consumption. When mixed, food colors can become very dangerous to the health of the individual. Mixing food coloring is very common and used many times to produce the right colors. Although Red No. 40 is banned in many countries for health reasons, the United States continues to produce and use the substance for religious purposes. Most people know what artificial food coloring is and enjoy its use in creating appetizing and deliciously colored foods. However, only a few know what artificial food colors actually have the ability to do.
