    Music is universally known as an expression of emotion, a rebellion against man, a way of life, a random collection of sounds, a boring thing that children listen or even vacation. of everything, but in reality music is free from any definition. The industry involved in buying, selling and recording music has become so old, so treacherous and so ignorant that it fails to understand the steps necessary to evolve with the growing music industry. Musicians and fans are screaming about the urgent need for modern innovation in the market. Unfortunately, the monstrous corporations that dominate the market have put a damper on their competitive advantage and stopped the innovative changes that all small businesses can make. Today there are only three major labels dominating the market and only one other company trying to make its way. in the ring. Yet there are many small businesses that distribute and sell CDs by bands whose names will never make it to the table, much less bar stools, and themselves will never be recognized beyond those who are part of the company. Additionally, bands are even purchased from smaller companies before the band gets too big and the small label becomes known. It's a sad, sad story of big fish eating little fish and nothing has changed since recorded music began! Many of the major points that will be discussed are the monopoly of the major record labels on the music industry and the difficulty for emerging labels/artists to make a living from them. As a member of a band who tried to get started, I have some experience with the amount of work it takes, the type of people it requires, and the long evenings a gig can involve.
