According to a recent statistic, 91% of millennials are regular Internet users and spend at least 25 hours/week online (Charalambous). This statistic shows that the majority of millennials go online frequently, meaning they constantly spend time online researching, shopping online, socializing, and sharing on social media. Still, millennials are more likely to have their first interaction with brands with their smartphones because most millennials use their devices often and businesses must have some type of social media account to be able to contact them.
