    The checklist provides a means to evaluate student performance based on their performance. It evaluates whether a specific criterion has been met. There are only two choices for judging each criterion, whether it is present or not. Moskal (2000) stated that the checklist is an appropriate choice for evaluating when the information is limited to determining whether specific criteria have been met. The checklist is used for diagnostic purposes and helps track student progress. Many grading criteria may be subjective, but they are not perceived that way because decisions are considered final (Dart and Boulton-Lewis, 1998). There are a number of different types of checklists, such as the behavior checklist, product checklist, and procedure checklist. The checklist is the simplest type of scoring guide and provides a list of all the items needed in an answer.
