    Julia said, “I cleaned the bathroom and mopped the floor,” she never mentioned the game. While I started attending some family events at Julia, I noticed that it seemed almost expected that she would carry out certain tasks in the family. Her parents would say she enjoys doing things around the house, as they beamed with pride. As a teacher and provider, I felt it was necessary to encourage Julia to play and have fun, even though she was always the one volunteering to help the teachers. We solved this problem by allowing other children to choose a job and share responsibilities in class. Julia was saddened by this, thinking that she was not doing a responsible job and that she was being replaced.
