    My parents also made sure that I didn't wait to do my homework, because they know that I would most likely procrastinate. I know that if it were up to me, I would have waited until the last minute to complete the assignment and it wouldn't show off my best work and all the potential I had. Even though my parents knew about my homework, they never did it for me, but always guided me and gave me the help I needed. My parents also always stayed in touch with my teachers and always communicated with them about my performance in class. Their communication really helped me and I feel like it made me a better student because not only did I have help at school, but my parents also knew what to help me at home . After thinking about how my parents helped me and the type of student I have become compared to others who don't have parental involvement, I see a difference.
