    This lukewarm water was deceptive, however, as it only seemed lukewarm due to the drop in temperature and misty rain. The waves rushed towards me like a bull on a matador's red flag. My mouth tasted like someone had dumped a whole jar of salt on my tongue. The wave pushed me further and faster as I could feel the wave crashing over my body and there I was back in the shallows, floating again with the white wash and I was ready for another wave. As I got up and ran towards the deep water, I saw one of my surfing buddies grab the most perfect barrel ever. It would have been a great shot. I caught another wave, this one was even bigger. The thrust of the wave twisted my body and I was pulled towards the sea.
