    Music has been around for thousands of years. Since then, the music has progressed and gradually become what it is today. Although the music has been around for a very long time, protest music only began to develop during the Vietnam era in 1954. The difference between this and using music as a form of protest, besides violence, is that music can be played in a way that almost anyone can appreciate. Music doesn't hurt anyone. In fact, music is something that almost every human being in the world loves. The style of music changes from person to person, but the core of the music is similar in everyone. Music is something that brings everyone together and using it as a means of protest, for necessary reasons, is a great idea compared to other forms of protest like picketing, rioting, etc...
