When we finished, we went to rest, drink water and have snacks, then sign our contracts. This experience really made me think about how much need there is for people right outside of our homes and we don't even have to worry about that. Going there made me question not only the things I would do to help others, but also to realize that there are still people fighting for good causes like this. My own sense of responsibility was also impacted. After this project, I changed some bad habits we had, like throwing away food we buy that we don't like.
