    IntroductionThe definition of moral leadership is quite simple and varied depending on the situation or context requiring leadership. Exercising moral and ethical leadership is much more complex when exercised in the daily operations of life. This is particularly poignant when it involves righting a wrong or redeeming a situation to contribute to a process of improvement. Dineen, Lewicki and Tomlinson (2006 p. 430 in Yukl) argue that it is up to leaders to lead by example in both areas. ethical and moral behavior. One of the questions not addressed due to lack of research concerns the cultural aspects of leadership in various cultures. I will attempt to approach this issue from my own cultural perspective, drawn from the oral history I grew up with. During this research, two scenarios presented themselves as to what an ethical and unethical leadership situation looks like. Further research led me to look for other situations for comparison.
