I selected these three articles to discuss employee engagement: “An Employee Engagement Process Model: “Learning Climate and Its Relationship to Out-of-Role Performance Behaviors,” “Organizational Identification , work engagement and job satisfaction” and, “Improving organizational commitment and employee performance through employee engagement: an empirical verification”. Employee engagement is linked to job satisfaction, employee performance, organizational identification, and employee attitude. Each article delves deeper into employee engagement and the relationships it plays in an organization. Learning climate, defined as the beneficial activities of the organization to help employees create, acquire, and transfer knowledge, has also been proposed as an antecedent of employee engagement (Eldor and Harpaz, 2015). The section focused on employee engagement scored 3.71 for a mean with a standard deviation of 0.79 (Eldor and Harpaz, 2015). Questions focused on learning climate had a mean of 3.25 and a standard deviation of 0.77. Questions targeted at job satisfaction had a mean of 3.25 and a standard deviation of 0.94.
