    When I walk through the grocery store, it seems like the title of every magazine has a story about someone getting divorced or being cheated on. There's no point spending thousands of dollars on a wedding if the marriage only lasts three years. People know before they get married that they are agreeing to be bound together for the rest of their lives. No one takes marriage seriously anymore, which makes people, like me, lose interest in it. Having a big ceremony to represent mutual commitment, which will be interrupted a few years later, is a waste of time. I could save thousands of dollars and hours of my time by choosing to remain without a spouse, and I would still be able to survive
