  • Essay / Environmental Effects of Air Pollution - 631

In today's world, air pollution is a very important issue to consider because it has effects on the environment and human health. Environmentally, harmful air pollutants can make up acid rain. It can also compose dangerous ground-level ozone. This would destroy trees, crops, animals and water. This could be linked to human health, as dangerous chemicals such as vinyl chloride in the air cause cancer, birth defects and long-term lung damage. Additionally, breathing with these chemicals can even lead to death. Air pollution can come from natural and human activities. For example, in the industrial age, people used fossil fuels to get around. So they burned a lot of fossil fuels, which is a major cause of pollution. When burning fossil fuels, dangerous pollutants are released, such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and particulate matter. In particular, carbon dioxide is a very harmful chemical for the environment because it contributes to acid rain and changes the climate which affects the environment. The emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere occurs during the combustion of fossil fuels. If fossil fuels release a lot of carbon dioxide, acid rain will occur more. Acid rain contributes to damage to trees and many other forest soils. Furthermore, acid rain sculptures are part of the cultural heritage of the human nation. Another environmental effect of carbon dioxide on air pollution is climate change. Over the past 100 years, Earth's surface temperature has increased, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Many scientists believe carbon dioxide pollution is the main culprit, as they have evidence showing ocean water levels have risen because of carbohydrates...... middle of paper .... .. Finally, we finished leveling the ground to spread manure. and few people planted on the ground. In my opinion, the UW Restoration Ecology Network needed this volunteer work because planting a plant has a positive effect on our environment, such as removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere that I mentioned earlier, which is a dangerous chemical, so we can reduce air pollution by planting a plant. . Typically, plants absorb carbon dioxide and remove oxygen from the air through the leaves through tiny holes called stomata during the day. When the sun shines, the plant has light which allows photosynthesis. During this process, the pigment absorbs light and the green tissue of the plant produces glucose. Additionally, if we plant more, we would reduce carbon dioxide emissions that harm our environment. So we can protect our environment..
