    As noted above, “gender dysphoria often results in distress and impairment” (Chapter 8, p. 279). In my opinion, this little boy who calls himself “Princess Boy” does not appear to show any signs of distress or impairment. However; more evidence is needed to prove whether the little boy is showing signs of distress. For example: What are the little boy's grades? Do those around the little boy, such as his friends or those around him, accept this type of behavior? What is the family environment like in the face of this type of behavior on his part? As the little boy grows, he may or may not grow out of this type of behavior. However, as the little boy grows, he may show signs of distress if his environment is not as accepting as when he was younger. After watching the video, it appears that his family accepts this type of behavior. It also seems that the little boy is happy with his interest in items and clothing aimed at girls. In my opinion, it is common for children to sometimes act out of the norm. For example; a friend of mine has a little boy who sometimes likes to wear his mother's shoes for fun. Like the little boy in the video, my friend's son is happy and healthy, showing no signs of distress. Yes, this is abnormal behavior but in my opinion I don't think this type of behavior seems to cause distress. However; this type of
