Pollution is a growing problem worldwide and is the leading cause contributing to many environmental problems. What is generally classified as pollution, what type of pollution is present in the world and what people are doing to combat this pollution problem in the world. There are several global pollution issues that are associated with global warming and include waste disposal, water pollution, and air pollution. These things are usually caused by people on the planet producing waste. This constitutes a growing complication and is (omitted) now considered a serious problem. Solutions to these situations have been considered to conserve the Earth and everything on it. One of the situations involved in global pollution is waste disposal. There are many ways to dispose of waste or other materials, the most obvious and commonly used solution is to simply bury these wastes underground, often in metal drums or concrete containers. This elimination method, however, has several drawbacks. For example, drums and containers open, leaking dangerous chemicals into groundwater. People living near hazardous waste sites are then exposed to these chemicals in their drinking water, through foods grown on the land, or through other means. Since people of color and low-income people tend to live near hazardous waste sites much more often than more affluent white people, hazardous waste disposal is an issue of particular concern to these communities (Newton) . Another way used to dispose of waste is by incineration. This method requires very close monitoring, as the ash and smoke can still be just as dangerous as their physical form. Most of these pollution incidents have a negative effect on both our environment and our economy, which depends on how food is produced and how it is affected by pollution. Water has also been negatively influenced by the disposal of waste produced by people and some businesses and when it is polluted with garbage, nothing is done until it becomes a problem. Everyone in the world contributes to pollution, every nation, every person and every establishment contributes to some extent to pollution. The only solution to widespread pollution can only be to find better and more efficient ways of providing electricity for our daily needs.
