    During the American Revolution, the United States was founded on the ideals of liberty and justice and the principle that "all men are created equal", but these ideals have not always been displayed in daily life. America. Americans saw the far-reaching effects of the American Revolution. These effects were felt by men, women, slaves, Indians, and many religious congregations. Unfortunately, not all of the ideals of the revolution were respected. “The rights of “all men,” declared in 1776 and repeated with the appeal in 1789, but women and most African Americans, many of whom had fought and died for freedom, but were deprived of these freedoms. This error will have to be corrected, but at the cost of great rivalries and great difficulties” (Guisepi, R. (1999, January 1). The Background Of Revolution). Therefore, in some ways, the American Revolution helped support slavery, injustice, and discrimination. For some Americans, this was no different than before the American Revolution. “In the late 1700s, many Americans were struggling economically, but common men gained a greater voice in politics. The constitution allowed men with less property to vote and hold office. Although most elected officials still came from the wealthy classes and conflicts between rich and poor, debtors and creditors intensified between 1783 and 1787. When petitions and elections failed, workers and poor farmers organized demonstrations. In New Hampshire, debt-ridden farmers marched toward Exeter, the home state capital, to demand reforms. They quickly seized and their leaders were imprisoned” (Hewitt and Lawson, 203). As for women and slaves, the American Revolution did not grant them the same advantages as others.
