    Sustainability is the concept discussed by everyone in the world, including non-designers. Due to globalization and advanced technological advancements, people are well informed about what is happening at the same time. Although the concept of sustainability speaks to every person part of this globe, as designers we have a social responsibility to be conscious of our design decisions and come up with solutions that will facilitate the fight against the deterioration of conditions in the world and also do good for future generations. This article explores the need to be exploratory in design. The author in "Three Principles" explains how the design profession transmits the enormous amount of knowledge and history of classic designs in a short period of time and yet we denounce the knowledge that the students lack. Another reason is that the designer is relatively ineffective in tackling the sustainability challenge, because we still seem to be in a mindset and as designers we need to open ourselves up to be more innovative and effective in integrating sustainability . The author mentions the need for designers to explore the possibilities because in the advanced world we cannot solve any problem with the age-old solution. The author also discusses an interesting aspect of Fuller's concept of "ephemeralization." The concept that the more sophisticated a product is, the smaller it becomes. He supports his statement with an example of how technology has progressed from a huge computer to a sleek tablet. As a planet, we consider the different solutions to the problems we face, but are we actually taking the initiatives to be effectively productive? It is certain that the solution for effective sustainable solutions is in the hands of every citizen of this planet and one should simply consider sustainability as a “design solution” but consider it as a way of life..
