I gained knowledge in each of my classes, but the most information I gathered came from my Business 109 competition. This course is taught by Professors Crawford, Huston and Polito. in the Saint-François room. The goal of the course is to teach us teamwork skills, small business skills (being able to start one and run it successfully), and time management since the course is scheduled. The idea is to separate students into groups, create a business plan, and present this idea to professors and classmates. At the end of the semester, we present them to local business people who will then vote for the top four companies, taking into account profitability, presentation skills and quality of the business plan.
