    Technology is infinite, and in the modern era, technological advancements are endless. The goal of technology management is to prepare managers to understand business, the manufacturing process, organizational goals, and technological fundamentals that can create competitive advantage. The three main concepts on which the majority of attention is focused are: • How technology should be implemented and used wisely in an organization. • The role of the IS manager in an organization and how organizations could use information technology to gain a competitive advantage over their rivals. • Ethical issues related to the use of information technology. It is well known that information technology plays a vital role in an organization, but investing in IT alone does not generate profits. Organizations must first understand their needs and must also consider their goals and objectives before investing in IT. The Google case study provided insight into how these concepts can be integrated and how successful an organization could be by implementing these concepts. Google allowed its employees to choose the computers and software they wanted. This step proved successful as it gave employees access to useful software. The search engine giant built its own software or purchased it from other vendors as needed. Google has ensured that the ethical principles involved in the use of information technology are strictly followed. Although it allows employees to freely access company information, sufficient security measures are taken to ensure data security.
