  • Essay / Creationism: the center of our universe and our life

Many people believe that life began thanks to the theory of evolution. However, the most popular book in the world is the Bible. The Bible is also on almost every critic's list of ten books to read. So how could the world's most popular book go wrong? Many who have read the Bible believe that it was only through the power of God that life began on Earth. Many people do not believe in the theory of evolution and instead believe in the power of divine creationism. Creationism is a belief that Divinity or God created all life and intelligence in the universe and on earth. Based on the biblical account: “In the beginning God created heaven and earth” (1:1). The theory of creationism does not agree with or support the theory of natural process as the beginning of life on earth. Although they have different religious practices and beliefs, they all agree that the universe, earth, and life were created by a higher power and/or creator. The majority of creationist believers are of Christian faith: "In the United States and the United Kingdom, large groups of Christians believe that evolution is an unproven theory that can devalue religious belief" (BBC). Most creationist believers believe that the biblical description of the earth and humanity is fact, ...... middle of article ...... e, Religion, evolution and creationism. March 31, 2014.
