    Today, in the era of post-modernity, the ideas aimed at instilling the concepts of environmental protection and respect for virtues of local wisdom are experiencing a stratospheric rise to notoriety. These constructed ideas are quite relevant with the idea of ​​creating such environmental education proposed in the Belgrade Charter (UNESCO, 1976) and the Tbilisi Declaration (UNESCO, 1978), as noted in Sauvé (1999:13). Post-modernity itself is also elucidated by Sauvé, whose complex, unique and contextual nature as an object of knowledge he discusses. Therefore, based on this, everything about nature could become the source of educational learning. Educational learning about nature in the Indonesian educational context has already found resonance in its recognition by the Ministry of the Environment. Let us commend the seriousness of the ministry in refining and realizing this idea, because as a result, many schools at all levels of education are keen to implement this idea. From there, other huge collaborations, notably with the Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education, Department of National Education of Indonesia, were subsequently established (Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup/Ministry of Education).
