    Among them, freedom of expression and protest is one of the most fundamental and essential rights as it guarantees social justice directly and public welfare indirectly . Reforms or other similar actions aimed at changing the unjust situation in a community have a long process to go through, and young people, as the main soldiers during the struggle, have a greater duty for a more egalitarian and harmonious society. Therefore, the protest in Taiwan must be supported by the people and freedom of expression must be released by law in order to provide a rich ground for the people, especially the youth, to grow the seed containing democratic ideals, in thinking for themselves about the problem that can affect their daily lives and making moves to improve modern civilization
