  • Essay / Dog or horse? - 747

Have you ever really wanted a pet but could never decide which one you really want? It's been years since I've owned a pet and I think it's time I got one. I didn't know where to start because there were a lot of animals but I could only choose between two. So I decided to go between a horse and a dog because I already owned a dog and a horse. Both animals would make incredible pets. You can interact with them and they bring you joy. After doing some research by asking experienced family members, I found out that both animals have their pros and cons, just like anything else out there. These two animals are not only used for riding, running, being a man's best friend, but they are also used for therapy. Many organizations have these two specific groups of animals specially trained to help people with special needs. Horses are primarily used to help people move their bones, one specific area being the pelvis. Horses move like the human pelvis, which is why horses are good for bone therapy. However, dogs, on the other hand, are used to help people who have mental and physical problems. You can spot them easily because they wear a special vest that indicates what their job is. For example, dogs help blind people by guiding them where they are going and doing other things. To own a pet, you must be very responsible. Therefore, you need to be able to see your pet every day and check if they are doing well. Additionally, the most important thing an animal needs is shelter. Either you get him a cage or a niche in a horse crate, you need to get a stable. Horses need to be stabled and buying one or even renting one can be a daunting task...... middle of paper ... as well as depression and they can help with many other illnesses mental. Horses are also used to help people with mental problems. One of the main reasons they are known for is that they help farmers till the soil on their farm. We know that horses are still used to transport logs today. It seems to me that the dog is capable of doing more things than the horse. It's good to know that not only can they give back to their community, but also to the animals. After comparing all the differences and similarities between the two animals, I came to the conclusion that whatever animal you own, it requires one hundred percent commitment. The question now is “Will I commit to taking care of animals every day?” » This question is something I really need to think about. I hope that when I am a responsible and committed adult, I will be able to own not only a dog but also a horse..
