    Today I am going to tell you about a great man in American history. He was a high achiever and excelled in many areas. He was an actor, athlete, spokesperson and the 40th President of the United States. His name was Ronald Wilson Reagan. Ronald Reagan was born on February 6, 1911, in Tampico, Illinois. His parents were Jack and NelleReagan and an older brother named Neil. He and his family later moved to Dixon, Illinois. He attended Dixon High School. He played basketball, football, track and field, acted in plays and was also a lifeguard, saving 77 lives. He then went to Eureka College and became interested in theater. After college, he served 8 years in the Army. Due to vision problems, unable to fight in World War II, he made training and morale films for the troops. After his military service, he moved to Iowa and worked at a radio station in Davenport, Iowa.
