    Through this Tai Chi class, I learned several lessons and practices that I can use in my daily routine. Sifu taught me that Tai Chi involves exercising, increasing your flexibility and coping with stress, but it will only be beneficial if you understand it and know how to integrate it into your daily life. Tai Chi is a form of exercise that helps relax the body, while strengthening muscles and increasing your balance. It provides many health benefits that involve a combination of breathing and circulating your Qi, or energy, to relax and align your body and mind. I learned to maintain more control over myself and understand my limits by learning Qi and Qigong. In college, students face many stressors. Many people don't make time to breathe and exercise in their day. Before, when I exercised, I never thought about incorporating my breathing into it, I didn't realize it would be as helpful as it is now.
