Have you ever imagined climbing onto the roof? Have you ever imagined walking straight into a wall? Well, if you've made it happen, your dream may not be so far away thanks to the new technology discovered by Gecko. The new technology is not really new, it was discovered recently by the human race, so we consider it new, but in reality it has been around for millions of years. The secret to the gecko's ability to climb walls is truly complex, it starts at the molecular level, with what they call a spatula, it's a nanohair about 200 nanometers wide and tall (Robert Full 2000) . The spatula is so small that you can't see it with the naked eye, but it creates a relatively strong force for its size, and that's what makes it climb walls and ceilings. The force created is a weak force in reality, but because this force is so small, a gecko's foot has hundreds of millions of these spatulas, and because of the millions of these hairs, it also creates a force equal to 4 x 107 μn, or approximately 40 N per foot (Robert Full 2000). Since this seems like a tiny amount, but per foot it is only 100 mm2 (Robert Full 2000). Consider that if this were just 100 mm2 and a human foot, that's about 10,000 mm2, that's a hundred times the force per foot of a gecko foot, so you would produce 4,000 N per foot (Robert Full 2000). What is the reason behind this “stickiness”? from a gecko leg? According to Robert Full, a graduate in gecko feet, and cockroach legs are created by the Vander Der Waal effect, it may only be 0.4 μn per hair (Robert Full 2000), but if you look closely closer, there are around hundreds. millions of these nanohairs and there are so many of them that it quickly adds up to a very strong force (Robert Full 200...... middle of paper...... the hairs are staggering, there are So many applications these could be used, like from simple hanger, clear victims to extreme burns to cover the wound, but the potential of nanohairs won't stop at such simple things, as they could eventually reach aviation technology , and/or could even be used in military aviation for secret missions The technology would never have been discovered without the geckos and Robert Full. -been discovered, and now it will contribute to a huge improvement in human life Before sooner or later, the human species might just be able to climb walls and walk on roofs trying to be like Spiderman. As previously noted, the technology could be used primarily for firefighting robots and/or paramedic robots to rescue people from a location where a human could not access..
