Private school versus public school: Is private school educationally better than public school? Unless proven in the near future, studies show that private school is not educationally better than public school. Many people assume that private school students perform better than public school students, but private schools rarely release test scores and do not necessarily use the same tests as public schools. Different tests mean different results. In private schools, there are no curriculum requirements. This way, teachers can teach their students as they see fit. Additionally, teachers do not need to be certified or licensed to teach in private schools, whereas if you wanted to teach in a public school, you would have to complete a series of requirements to obtain your license. It is mandatory for all public school teachers to complete these steps: earn a bachelor's degree, complete a teacher training program, supervised teaching experience, and pass basic writing and math tests. All teachers are required to participate in professional field work, often included in education degree programs, in which they are responsible for assisting or teaching a class under the supervision of a licensed teacher. Some would say this makes public school teachers more qualified and have a better understanding of what they are doing, whereas private school teachers could be anyone and have no idea what they are teaching. Some private schools are required to administer a nationally standardized test for students in third, sixth, and ninth grades at least once per school year. The test should measure knowledge of English, grammar, reading, spelling and mathematics...... middle of sheet ...... Your child needs you. The problem is not with the schools; the same goes for social inequalities. There are far more college graduates among private school parents than among public school parents: 30 percent of religious school parents and 57 percent of other private school parents earned a college degree, compared to 19 percent of public school parents. .But that doesn't mean private school is better, it just means that some parents push their kids more into private school and parents who send their kids to private school care a little more about their kids' education their children than public school parents (Cloud) (Shanker). So, based on scientific studies, private school itself is not educationally better, it just has better equipment and a better, safer environment to learn in and parents are more involved in private schools than in public schools..
