  • Essay / Orville and Wilbur Wright: The Wright Brothers - 837

The inventors of the airplane were none other than Orville and Wilbur Wright. The two brothers were the pioneers of the airplane. Both born in the late 1800s, the elder of the two, Wilbur, was born on April 16, 1867. Wilbur was born in the town of Millville, Indiana. The younger brother, Orville, was born on August 19, 1871. Orville, unlike his older brothers, was born in Dayton, Ohio. Wilbur and Orville both had five other siblings named Reuchlin, Lorin, Katharine, Otis and Ida. (Odis and Ida died during childhood). In a household of seven siblings, Lorin and Orville both lived to be the oldest children, between 76 and 77 years old. Their father was Milton Wright (of English and Dutch descent). Their mother was Susan Catherine Koerner (of German and Swiss origin). They indeed had a very diverse heritage. The two brothers were friends of each other. Orville was a troublemaker and was kicked out of his elementary school. However, there was no record of WIlbur's suspension or expulsion. Orville and Wilbur Wright believed their passion for aeronautics began with their father's gift. They had received a toy from their father, Milton Wright, of the United Brethren Church of Christ. This toy was a plane, bamboo, paper and cork, with a rubber band to twirl its stem. Both of them had loved the toy their father had given them. They continued to play with it every day until it broke. Although they were broken, they eventually built their own miniature plane. However, during their high school years, they had not become graduates of the high schools they attended. Both Orville and Wilbur Wright had attended high school. Unfortunately, both did not receive their diploma. Due to a sharp shift in the middle of the paper, it was mainly used for luxury, goods and related products from the United States. Since our world has progressed over the past 100 years, we have been able to accommodate more vacation areas, receive and ship greater numbers of imports and exports, and see relatives from different countries. It has made our world simpler and more efficient, one plane at a time. Although we have since tried to perfect the plane, we have always relied on the technique used by the Wright brothers. The creation of such an object was a fundamental part of American history. Brothers have made our country more successful from the 1800s to today. If we didn't have airplanes today, it would be difficult to take vacations, import/export, and visit families in any part of the world. They paved the way for others to follow in their footsteps.
