    The principal planned to contact the social studies supervisor in the main office, even though he was busy the next day and did not do so. If the principal had contacted this supervisor, he or she would be aware of the general way these issues were handled in class and would have some suggestions on how to handle them outside of class. Instead, the director had made no concrete plans to solve this new problem and now the problem was getting worse and worse by the minute. When a problem like this arises, you have to work around the clock to resolve this problem from the beginning. A problem like this can't be put off in the hope that they can calm it down and then resolve it. Issues such as riots and protests require immediate action. The school must quickly develop a plan and begin implementing it. The director dropped the ball in this situation by letting too much time pass. By dragging their feet, parents were able to start taking steps to iron out the problem.
