    Imagine this; you're sitting at your desk looking at a bunch of photos. Just a normal scene, what could go wrong? Suddenly you are attacked by deadly things trying to steal your personal information like your credit card numbers, your email address, all your passwords, everything. Could this be the work of ninjas? No (I bet that's what you thought first). What about the FBI? No. So what was it? It was a virus. If you hadn't figured it out yet, you were looking at images online using Google Images (for all you Bing fans, I'm sorry but Google is much better). You were downloading images from Google and one of them had a virus in it and it was downloaded with one of the images. How do I know it's a virus? The answer is no. I haven't given enough symptoms to diagnose this. For hacking and security professionals, you may know that viruses are not the only threat. If you are new to the world of computing, this may not be the case. The three most common types of malware that will attempt to damage your PC or data in any way are Trojans, worms, and viruses. These three are very different and all are terrible for you and your PC. Trojans are a type of program that can and usually will damage a PC through software and hardware. The way it enters the computer is by tricking the computer user into believing that some software they found online is safe. When the person downloads the software, it is not actually useful software. It is actually a Trojan horse which has now invaded the PC. Once inside, it allows the Trojan creator to access and control the computer from their own home. The hacker can then gain access to passwords, important documents, and other items that will be mentioned later.
