Bioenergy, available from biomass, can constitute an exceptional alternative energy. Some people argue that bioenergy development is undesirable because it leads to environmental problems, food insecurity, and low energy efficiency. However, bioenergy needs to be continuously developed because it is sustainable, it has a relative advantage and its shortcomings are surmountable. First, bioenergy is sustainable. First of all, bioenergy sources are renewable. Biomass, which is the source of bioenergy, is unlimited. It is produced from agricultural waste and residues. Unlike oil, gas and coal, plant and animal materials can be easily regenerated. It is therefore inexhaustible and renewable as long as we produce, buy and consume food. In addition, it is environmentally friendly. Not only is bioenergy produced in an environmentally friendly way, but it is also used in this way. Plants intended for biomass can absorb the CO2 released during the use process. Although deforestation and overexploitation can have side effects, they can be avoided through strong government regulation. Furthermore, the use of bioenergy does not have contradictory interests with the health of humanity. Inhaling gases from fossil fuels can harm people's health, making the use of these energies dangerous. However, the use of bioenergy is healthy, and therefore also sustainable for humanity. Second, bioenergy relatively dominates other energies in many respects. Above all, it does not present risks of physical illness unlike nuclear energy. The use of nuclear energy is so dangerous that there have been several serious nuclear power plant accidents around the world. On the contrary, bioenergy can be perfectly controlled and therefore does not risk causing physical harm to people. In addition, it is relatively independent of the influence of climate.
