    How does the media influence people's behavior and their perception of the world? When you look at a magazine, what sticks out most your attention? Is it the juicy gossip that tells you if a certain celebrity has broken up with another? Or is it the gorgeous models that adorn every page of the magazine? What music is the best? What's in fashion? A place we would like to visit for the holidays. Where should we hang out with our friends? What movie to go see. We all benefit from some sort of media influence. It shapes our opinions, but it can also be worse. In recent years, media has expanded widely into magazines, radio/music and the Internet. It has a powerful influence mainly on the youth and adolescents of this generation. First, magazines influence young people and adolescents. There are so many magazines that young people like to look at to find out what's in style. People, Seventeen and Teen Vogue are some of the magazines that attract some teenagers. By flipping through the pages of magazines, teenagers will see that the image of our society, mold after mold, has made teenagers want to be. Many young people and teenagers will do anything to look like their favorite celebrity. This can happen to both girls and boys, like many young girls who want to look like their favorite celebrities, who are skinny and whom they consider beautiful. Many young people will do anything to look like their three favorite celebrities; they will even start a diet that could harm them. One of these diseases is called anorexia; it's when someone doesn't eat and they starve, another illness is bulimia; when someone eats and then vomits. These diseases mainly affect girls, but they can also affect boys.
