    “My body, my choice” is the main slogan of the abortion debate. However, the debate contains two very real ideas that arouse strong feelings on both sides. On the one hand, there are pro-choice activists who fight for the rights of pregnant women. On the other hand, pro-life activists defend the rights of the unborn. Over the years, abortion has become one of the major topics of controversy and has become a moral, social and medical dilemma within our society. Regardless of which side one chooses, abortion is a decision that should not be taken lightly. The state of Texas was at the center of the abortion debate in 2013. With the creation of Obama Care, many tax-paying Americans object to their tax dollars being spent on abortion. The pro-life movement finds abortion morally irresponsible and believes it is morally wrong to fund abortions with taxpayer dollars. The public believes that abortion should not receive funding because it would make it more difficult for women to access it. (QUOTE!?)
