Paranormal itself means to refer to events or phenomena such as telekinesis or clairvoyance that are beyond the scope of normal scientific understanding. Telekinesis means moving objects by mental power. According to (Broad, 1953) “paranormal phenomena are defined as those which, if genuine, would violate the fundamental limiting principles of science”. Paranormal activity can essentially be described as pseudoscience. It is something that is outside of science, where extraordinary events occur, such as moving objects, ghosts or poltergeists. To clarify the last sentence, a poltergeist is a ghost or other supernatural being believed to be responsible for physical disturbances such as loud noises and thrown objects. I'm going to talk about vampires. A vampire that everyone knows is Dracula. Vampire bodies somewhat resemble those of humans. The chemicals in the brain that help us wake up in the morning with sunlight are reserved for vampires. All vampires have powerful organs. Sight, hearing, and smell are all powerful among vampires. According to (Pecos), “In vampires, the iris of each eye becomes hyper dilated, giving them excellent night vision” (2014). Vampire teeth are growing rapidly. Their teeth have sharp fangs that make eating easier. A vampire's skin is pale (Pecos, 2014). A vampire's muscular and skeletal system gives them a greater advantage. Vampire muscles are 90% fast-twitch type. Then their skeletal system thickens. The body temperature of vampires also differs from that of humans. While the human temperature is 98 degrees, a vampire's temperature is 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Vampires do not age on a genetic level, but their bones tend to tear and they also tend to lose their hair and muscular form. The...... middle of paper ...... be seen. More research could have been done on vampires, but not all information was provided and more could have been included. The results probably would have been different. To summarize, more research and stories are needed to prove that vampires are real or not. Works cited by Jerome J. Tobacyk. (2004). A Revised Paranormal Belief Scale.
