A person could simply help the doctor obtain products that he or she might need to give certain baths to the patient. A person gets paid very well being a nurse. A person could also travel the world to hospitals to help other patients. I think it's a fun job to have and learn a lot of different things. The BLS reports that the median salary for a registered nurse was $65,470 in 2012. The highest-paid 10 percent of nurses earned more than $94,720, while the lowest-paid 10 percent earned less than $45 040 $. Normally, a registered nurse's annual salary falls roughly in the bottom ten percentile in the field, earning an average of $45,040, while the top ten percentile earns $94,720 per year. The registered nurses with the highest salaries are those who have extensive experience in the field for 20 or more years. Nurses with only an associate's degree can earn more with years of experience than those with a bachelor's degree. The duties of a registered nurse include: recording patient medical history and symptoms, administering medications and treatments to patients, establishing or contributing to existing patient care plans, observing patients and recording observations , consult with doctors and other healthcare professionals, manage and supervise doctors. The equipment helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, teaches patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries, and also explains what to do at home after treatment.
