  • Essay / leadership skills - 1997

LeadershIpThe contemporary leadership we studied was situational, distributed and collaborative. We studied all of this because we believed that these types of principles would make the game more interesting for players and managers. I thought that with these principles we would have a chance to show how to apply them effectively. The research we did was supposed to explain how each principle worked and how to apply it effectively. Other examples of research were that the games that most applied to these principles that were situational were capture the flag, this game was that you had to get the ball and bring it to your side, but when the opponent recovered the ball from your goal. The team should instantly switch from offense to defense, showing that when a situation changes, how a person reacts to the change as the four-square game was distributed. In which the team with the ball had to bring out the other team, in this In the game there was a use of two principles in a collaborative and distributed game as an example some people should mark the opponent and work together to get the person out. We used Situational, Distributed, Collaborative, we delivered collaboratively and perfectly distributed because we worked with each other and the rest of the class to come up with an outcome because our game wasn't that good and people kept asking if they could change the rules. which made us think if we needed more time to run our game, since we only had 50 minutes to play. I felt like we all had a say in how to apply the group principles that Kent said when playing the game. As I went in deep to try and think about how it would affect the game and we as leaders what came to the conclusion of playing more games that would be high... middle of paper ...... could only be used when certain situations arise, for example when 'a person must evolve or achieve a balance with the needs of others and maintain their own needs of the game to achieve your goal, this was the time when a person had to get used to changing the rules for the benefit of the people playing at the game. I thought this principle was really bad to use because of its uses. What is your personal opinion? What happened when using specific leadership principles? Compare your overall experience as a PAL with the research. Challenge (questions that challenge leadership principles) In my opinion, we had the challenge of time, completing our game choices and how we would work with each other. . How we would work together would be a big problem because we know each other very well, but we have never really worked together and this game would show our flaws. Conclusion
