Writing effectively is one of the important skills that students need to learn. Languages ​​are affected by the culture of the country which includes almost everything, religion, education, quality of life and food. The purpose of this project is to critically evaluate Dr. Linn's 2009 study, trying to find the differences in academic writing between native English speakers and non-native speakers, which are probably true. A native speaker will be much better at writing, speaking, reading and listening. According to Linn (2009), the English structure of an essay is linear, whereas Arabic writers use a parallel argument. Many Arabic writers will likely describe an essay with a parallel argument as stronger than an essay with a linear argument. Linn (2009) suggested that there are some differences in academic writing style between a native speaker and a native speaker. However, it can be said that these differences are part of cultural differences. For example, they eat, live and speak differently. According to the Kaplan data used (see Connor, 2002; Hirsose, 2003), it shows how the cultural origins of the writer influence the level of the paper. CONCLUSIONIt is not easy to decide whether academic writers should learn English writing style or whether it is better to choose another writing style.
