People should not buy the diamond The “blood diamond” reflects the dark and fierce side of this beautiful world, full of vanity, cruelty and ambition . In Africa, in Sierra Leone, there are many child soldiers serving the RUF (Revolutionary United Front), and these people extract diamonds from the war zone and sell them in the official market. Therefore, the RUF collects the profits and uses them for illegal plans or terrorist attacks aimed at threatening the country and the population. These behaviors and activities have increased the morality rate in Africa, and the desire to obtain “blood diamonds” is the crucial factor fueling these conflicts and causing this devastating disaster. How will people feel if they lose their families in the chaos, their wives? and their daughters are subjected to sexual violence, including rape and torture, and their children are forced to become horrible soldiers? It will be so painful and miserable! No one will choose to sacrifice their family to the desires of these ambitious rebellions. However, in Sierra Leone, many victims endure this endless suffering. If people refused to buy diamonds, the situation would be much better and Africans would no longer need to live in fear, pain and sorrow every second of their lives. If women can stop boasting and being conceited, more people around the world will be able to feel that sweet, warm embrace from family. If the company can reject these illegal behaviors, African citizens will be able to enjoy their country's natural beauty and begin a new and hopeful life. In Africa, everyone knows a famous phrase: “If you want a long life, never touch the diamond” (Na Tie). Maybe the diamond represents power, wealth or high status in America, but in Africa it is... middle of paper ...... not buy the diamonds, because after removing its name graceful, it's just a rare and unusual rock. This destroyed the peace of this world and brought a tragic end to many families. Furthermore, it will turn a person's innocent heart into vanity, hatred and bloodthirsty. Therefore, to try to end this situation, people must do what they can to help these Africans. Don't think it's too far away to care, because if we actually make changes, the future of the world, not just Africa, will be brighter and full of laughter.
