Abortion is a very controversial topic in America because it is an important category of human rights. Many people think abortion should be illegal. A large majority of people do not really understand what abortion is or what procedures are used to abort a child. Abortion is currently legal in the United States, but in other countries it is very different. My human rights issue is abortion in the United States. The definition of abortion is the voluntary termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Personally, I don't believe in abortion. Violated human rights lead to the death of a person. Most women have abortions because they believe having a baby will affect their work or studies. Still others say they don't want to be single parents or have difficulties with their husband or partner. Some women abort for the safety of their body or their baby. ****The pro-choice option gives women the decision to choose whether or not to have an abortion. Women who may have an unplanned pregnancy and do not plan to keep the child may have the option of having an abortion if they wish. Because the baby is not born yet, people don't see it, and as a human being, aborting it is not considered killing a person. Some unplanned pregnancies may result from a lack of responsibility, contraceptive failure, or rape/incest. (Marcotte, 2013) Irresponsible people who terminate a pregnancy may want to have an abortion because they do not have the financial means to support a child. Teenage girls often have unplanned pregnancies because they are irresponsible. They may want to have an abortion because they are too young to care for a child. People say all the time that children are the future, and yet we continue to kill them by the millions because we don't think we can take care of them or aren't responsible enough to avoid them. pregnancy and unplanned pregnancy. People should know that there is help in life. If you know you can't afford milk or baby food and you live in a low-income household. There is WIC, they will give you coupons for free milk baby food and many other affordable things. There are programs that will give you free clothes and diapers. People will help you in life. Even if you hurt a lot of people, they will still help you. They will help you with your baby's needs. The baby didn't do anything to the people you're angry with. This baby hasn't done any harm in this world so don't kill him.
