Creationism versus evolution: how did it really happen? Since 1859 and the publication of On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin1, his first publication of his observations, many debates have taken place on the question of how life on earth originated. Creationists and evolutionists both believe in the "Big Bang" theory of the creation of life; however, the mechanism of developing new life is the source of the conflict. Evolutionists believe that the cause of life on Earth is due to accidental, random atomic collisions (non-living matter), known as abiogenesis2. Creationists believe the cause is supernatural intervention outside of the physical world, God. Both groups have reasons for what they believe. However, proving that either theory is true is impossible at present, due to the lack of provable evidence on the evolutionary side and the lack of evidence to refute the creationist view. The many discrepancies and flaws of each theory of creation have fueled the theory of creation. debate over the years, with each side trying to prove the other's theory wrong. Unfortunately for evolutionists, those who believe what Darwin published, two major observations stand out that call into question the validity of Darwin's theories. The theory of evolution is just that, a theory without scientific proof, and there is no scientific evidence disproving the story of the creation of life as written in the Bible. Therefore, these arguments also support the creationist view3. Darwin's theories, which became the basis of evolutionary thinking, arose from observations made during an expedition to South America. After observing environmentally related character variations among 13 types of the same bird species, Darwin developed the middle of the article......he Vines, eds. The evolution of life.
