  • Essay / The pros and cons of cyberbullying - 673

Do you know the story of Tyler Clemti? He was a normal student at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Tyler, after learning that a video was being broadcast live on the Internet, committed suicide by jumping from a bridge. The video contained footage of him and another man having sex. This is just one of the many horrible stories you hear about cyberbullying. The older generation considered being pushed, hit, taunted and called names a form of bullying. With the technology we have today, bullying has made its way into the media that we now know as cyberbullying. Today's society has found a path that channels angry and miserable people to hurt unsuspecting victims. Cyberbullying is when one person threatens another person via the Internet or other means of communication. It can be used to harm others for playful or malicious purposes. Cyberbullying is real bullying. There is always a hurt involved, whether emotional or physical. This can lead to suicide and even the death of others. There are many ways to harm a person. Videos of an individual may be used, and even false names may be used, misleading victims when they commit them. Aggressor, coward, whatever you want to call him, he is the public enemy. Unfortunately, he's everywhere (I'll refer to Public Enemy as him). It's everywhere, if you want to join a fraternity and/or sorority at the University, it's there. At work, there are those who feel the need to commit stupid and ridiculous actions that will hurt and harm others. This happens every day in the military. In 2001, while serving in the submarine force, a video was made of an obese sailor mixing truffles. As funny as it sounds... middle of paper ...... are presented above, even suicide and death. Such an incident would have been impossible -- or at least much less likely -- 20 years ago, Natrona County Dist. Atty. Mike Blonigen said. “This is probably only possible in our modern times.” Remember that even if you can't see a cyberbully, or their victim, they are real. It is necessary to prevent this danger and get help. There are many who want to harm us, even those we don't know. I don't know. Never share your personal information; Never meet face to face with someone you don't know who you met online. Let your loved ones know where you are and what you're doing online. those of this dangerous enemy. Remember, once you upload something to the Internet, it stays there, you might say, "If you don't say it in person, don't say it online.".”.
