  • Essay / Campaign Finance Reform - 1002

Campaign Finance ReformPolitics is a stage for many different characters each of whom is trying to convince his audience to give him the loudest cheers and big applause. Politicians who performed these acts will do their best and sometimes do anything to win the hearts of their audience, which means winning at all costs. Politics involves money because it is the means to make campaigning possible. This is why there are campaign managers and campaign funds for anyone running for government office. Every politician needs money or funds to support their candidacy in such a way that it helps them reach their voters because it also requires money to travel to their homes, towns and assemblies . Campaign funds are good, but they are limited, especially when they seem oddly misrepresented and can be exploited for purposes like voter fraud. Campaign finance reform is designed to regulate and limit campaign funds to be disbursed and used by politicians. in the fear that excessive contributions and financial support to the campaign will eventually corrupt public officials and also lead to the common idea of granting favors to those with huge campaign contributions. Excessive involvement of money is the root of all evils and in politics evil is always present in different forms and can come in the form of campaign contributions which would later translate into electoral influence among politicians and party associations. The fear of campaign finance reform is that if a small amount of money invested in a third-party contributor's political career causes them to favor them later, what else can be done with that many contributions? Laws or legislation even...... middle of document ...... close the loopholes and ineffectiveness of the current campaign finance law and provide room for additional measures that will strengthen the authority and power of the law until greed finds another way to exploit it and when that happens, amendments and reforms will always be a necessity.
