    When Emmett Klein woke up on August 12, he had no idea what awaited him on that sunny San Francisco day. With a name like “Klein,” one would assume he comes from a money background, right? Fake. Emmett is an average banker at Wells Fargo Bank on Market Street. He has a cat named Marly, and other than that, he lives alone in a pretty decent studio apartment above a rundown Korean restaurant. He wasn't very sociable, he rarely went out to parties or social gatherings for that matter. He often wondered why he decided to stay in California's most populous city, but he already knew the answer to that question. He didn't know anything else. Emmett was born and raised half-heartedly in South San Francisco, in what could be identified as a shack. He was an only child and the most his mother owned was about $20 and a broken and rusty old green Chevy. Emmett met Nathan in 4th grade. Nathan was completely different from him, and among the social groups of 4th year, he was also much "cooler" than Emmett. They didn't become friends right away, in fact Emmett hasn't even worked until now....
