Dmitri Ivanovitch Mendeleev, a Russian chemist, was for us the beginning of all education and teaching. Throughout his life, he made great achievements while going through serious illness. From his studies to inventing all kinds of things, he became known as the "father of the periodic table." Dmitri was born in Toblosk, Siberia, in 1834. He was the youngest of fourteen children. When his father became blind, he could no longer provide for his family. Since this happened, his mother has opened a glass factory. The year Mendeleev graduated from high school, his father died of tuberculosis. At that time, the only ones left in the house were Dmitri, Maria, Elizabeth and her mother. They decided to move to St. Petersburg so he could go to college. Mendeleev began his studies at the Pedagogical Institute in Saint Petersburg, where his sisters were. He passed his entrance exam to become a science teacher and entered in 1850. During his school year, Maria and Elizabeth, his older sisters, died of illness. He worked at the university for three years until he started getting really sick. Doctors told him he only had two years to live and had to stay on bed rest. Even though the illness was serious, it did not stop Mendeleev. He worked hard to get his college degree. He received the "Medal for Excellence" when he graduated in 1956. After graduating, he moved to Simferopol on the Crimean Peninsula in 1855. He became the chief scientific master. He regained all his strength thanks to the illness. Soon after, the illness was gone! He could now start focusing more on educating others. Before he began to educate others, he wrote ...... middle of paper ...... rmation about the elements. As he had more data, he argued that the Newlands did not contain enough information. On March 6, 1869, Mendeleev gave a presentation on the information that should be added to Newlands' law of octaves. After giving the information, at the age of 35, he was known as one of the smartest, smartest and most famous scientists in the world! Dmitri Mendeleev had many achievements in his time. The quote “too much salt or too little salt is like evil” led him to create the periodic table. He also used this quote to talk to others about the repression. He later died in 1907 in Saint Petersburg. He led other scientists to discover 110 elements to date! Since he only shaved his facial hair once a year, you would find him very persistent in his work. His teaching and lectures will continue for students for many generations to come.!
