    In the novel “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, the story begins by describing the difficult life of a girl named Katniss and her family. They struggle to get enough food and survive day to day. Katniss finds herself in a game called “The Hunger Games” which pits her against twenty-three other teenagers from the twelve districts of Panem. The game is televised to entertain the public and normally only one player survives. However, this year's game does not follow the normal pattern. Katniss and Peeta, who are the male and female "tributes" of District Twelve, end up as the final players and instead of fighting, they both decide to end their lives by eating poisonous berries, but before that occurs, they are both declared winners. In the plot, the protagonist of the story is Katniss Everdeen, a resourceful and resourceful 16-year-old girl from District 12, who is an experienced hunter who takes care of her family because her father died in an accident in a coal mine years ago. The antagonist of the story is President Snow. He and the people of the capital started the Hunger Games and forced innocent people to fight for entertainment.
