There are a lot of places in the middle that often tend to get left out, even though the truth is that these places are the most important. Places like Nebraska and Wyoming are crucial parts of the country. Although these places are not necessarily the most popular, they may be the most important. These states are like the ordinary workers of the world, taking on tasks that no one else was willing to do. These states are some of the most crucial parts of the United States simply because they are full of people willing to do the work that all the other, much more glamorous states don't do. This is something that is skillfully described in Willa Cather's text, A Wagner Matinee, where Cather perfectly describes the inner strength it takes to lead one of these lives. A Wagner Morning by Willa Cather shows the daily struggle of individuals living throughout the Midwest region of the United States. Cather's text clearly describes the physical stresses of daily life in Nebraska, as opposed to life in more populated parts of the world. A Wagner Morning gives just a little insight into working life on a Nebraskan farm. Most people in the more working-class parts of the world don't understand exactly how difficult it is to live a life consisting entirely of physical labor.
