There are three categories that have contributed to the physical and abstract separation in the field of work: workers versus machines, skilled workers versus unskilled workers, and immigrant versus non-immigrant workers. These three elements intertwine and connect with each other in the world of work. Alongside the lectures, historians and writers Herbert G. Gutman, JM Roberts, Ann L.
