  • Essay / The importance of environmental health - 1003

Our well-being depends on the environment in which we live. If we are healthy, we are able to build a better future for our children and, therefore, for our country. Therefore, everything we do affects other communities around the world. A good example is the disposal of plastic containers, which end up in the sea. This has become a serious problem in certain areas of the Pacific Ocean where some islands are covered in plastic debris, and even a floating mass of plastic debris called “waste plates”. We can personally make changes to improve the environment by reducing the impact on the environment. use of water, recycling, installation of a solar system to produce electricity, reduction of electricity consumption, use of soaps and detergents without phosphates, use of public transport, planting of trees, for just name a few. At the community level, we can help participate in environmental protection programs in our communities and support laws to protect the ecosystem. We may also apply some or all of the above improvements to our workplace. Contributing to improving the environment is not limited to the community we live in
